Information We Collect and How We Use It
Personally Identifiable Information You Give Us
You may give us personally identifiable information in a number of ways, including your: (i) using our Site or our Services, (ii) signing up, registering or subscribing to our digital publications, newsletters, chat rooms, forum or blogs, (iii) downloading white papers and other material or information from the Site, (iv) participating in a trial, demonstration or other licensed or authorized activity we make available, whether or not you download any programs, apps or other code, or (v) communicating with us or with others on our Site or through our Service.
We will retain your personally identifiable information for as long as needed to provide you services and for a reasonable period after that for archival, audit, legal or operational purposes. We will always reserve and retain the right to keep and use your personally identifiable information to comply with our audit, legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements.
Log Data We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information that your browser sends or is available to use as part of the technology of accessing and using our Site and our Services (“Log Data”). Log Data may include information such as your IP address, device type, browser type, geo-location information, the domain from which you are visiting, web pages you visit and the search terms you use, among other information. Except in the instances described herein, we do not use this information to identify you personally. We use it primarily to monitor the use of our Site and Services, for security and the protection of our technology and for the administration of our Site and Services.
We may combine your personally identifiable information with information collected from others to create reports and compilations of data that are aggregated in a manner that will no longer allow any personal identification of you through any means we are aware of using today’s technology. In addition, if we remove your personally identifiable information from any information we collect so that you are no longer identifiable, we have the right to combine and compile that information with information we collect from other users, generally, but not exclusively, to improve the quality and performance of our Site and Services. We may also collect information about your mailbox size, which will allow us to classify your company by size and provide customized information about implementing our Services within your organization.
CLOUDENTITY reserves the right to share your personally identifiable information with third parties in the following ways:
- Service Providers
We may use third party businesses to perform Site-related services (including, hosting and, maintenance services, database management, Web analytics, and improvement of the Site’s features). We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary for them to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information.
- Resellers and Partners
We may share your personally identifiable information with our resellers, business, promotional and technology partners, in many cases with those with whom we have arranged to help promote and market our Services, as well as their own products and services.
- Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement
In compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, we will disclose your personally identifiable information to government, regulatory, judicial and law enforcement authorities and to civil authorities pursuant to any subpoena, investigative demand or other legal compulsion. We also may disclose your personally identifiable information to protect our interests and the security and integrity of our business and operations and those with whom we have bona fide business relationships, to enforce our contracts and legal obligations, to respond to claims and legal process, to protect the property and rights of third parties, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to report, deter, prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
- Business Transfers
If CLOUDENTITY is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets, including a sale in bankruptcy, we may share some or all your information in connection with any due diligence and we may transfer your personally identifiable information in connection with and as part of any such corporate or asset transaction or in compliance with a court order.
Access & Choice
You have the right to access your personally identifiable information to correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate, requires updating or has been processed in violation of the any data protection principles unless the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy, or where the rights of other persons would be violated. If we are requested by you to remove or correct data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe and make corrections that are proper, although in certain circumstances, we may be required by law to retain a copy of your original personally identifiable information or we may need to do so to continue to allow you to use our Site or to provide you with our Services.
We take reasonable steps and maintain reasonable security measures to safeguard and protect your personally identifiable information from loss, destruction, alteration, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure. These measures help ensure your data is kept safe, secure, and only available to you and those to whom you provided authorized access.
We employ generally accepted standards of administrative, physical, procedural, and technological measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, both during transmission and once it is received. However, by using our Site or our Services, you are acknowledging and agreeing that you understand no transmission over the Internet, no wireless or mobile communication or exchanges of information and no means of digital or electronic storage or processing, is 100% secure. When you enter sensitive information (such as your login information) on our Site or to use our Services, we encrypt the transmission of that information using Transport Layer Security (TLS). However, as previously mentioned, no data transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, while of course we comply with our legal obligations in respect of the security of your personally identifiable information we cannot guarantee its absolute security or be held responsible in all cases if there is a breach.

Chat Rooms or Forums
Our Site may offer chats and chat rooms, blogs and/or community forums where users may interact with us and other users. Although we reserve the right to monitor these features and functions at any time or all the time, in our sole discretion, we have no obligation to do so. We also have the right to restrict or prohibit your access to any or all of these features and functions at any time for any reason or no reason. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, available, collected and used by others who access them and who are not bound by any obligation of confidentiality or restrictions on the use or further transmission of such information. If you do provide personally identifiable information on any of these publicly available areas, you may request us to remove your personally identifiable information by contacting us at privacy@Cloudentity.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personally identifiable information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
Some of the features and functionality of these areas may also managed by third party applications that may require you to register to post a comment or upload or otherwise provide information or content. In those instances, we may not have access or control of the information posted on these applications. You should review their privacy policies and you will need to contact or login into the third party application to learn how the third party application uses your information and what steps you need to take to have them remove your personally identifiable information.
